The Islands of the South Pacific are incredibly far away from anything. This may not sound like much of an epiphany, but in a world that is always "shrinking" it is becoming harder to find a place that is truly isolated. My wife and I applied for The Amazing Race this month and I hope to have a chance to go to such an remote and foreign place. I was excited to Survivor go to the Cook Islands and we just saw "Castaway" last week television (not to mention the other Tom Hanks South Pacific movie: Joe vs the Volcano. That last movie is a shout out to my homie, Kevin Boske.

<msn:type>blogentry</msn:type><live:type>blogentry</live:type><live:typelabel>Blog entry</live:typelabel>

<dcterms:modified>2006-11-25T14:59:53Z</dcterms:modified>
